It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Geoffrey Brian Dannell. As a member of the NVAT (and its precursors) since 1966 he was instrumental in its evolution and its success. As chairman, he played a central role in bringing about our 2019 conference and our 2021 online lectures. He was a leading authority on terra sigillata and undertook research into the life of local antiquarian, Edmund Artis.
