Nassington Roman Barn - Interim Report

The MidNAG investigation of an Iron Age and Roman rural landscape near Nassington has involved an annual community led excavation each year since 2016. The most notable feature so far has been a rectangular building with stone foundations and with associated corn dryers.

An interim report by technical director, Derek Roberts, has been published in Volume 40 of the journal Northamptonshire Archaeology. The report references the initial geophysical survey and the excavations undertaken in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
